Roseland Gardens was a focal point of the Brookside community of Black Mountain North Carolina for over 50 years. It served as a juke-joint, movie theatre, and gathering place for the African American community and drew folks from a wide geographic region. The building stands empty now, but the echoes of music, dancing, and good times linger.
